Remembering Bluey

Bluey, a courageous soul from Billy's Street, left a lasting impact, reminding us of the challenges faced by neglected dogs and the urgent need for intervention and support.

Bluey, a charming young puppy discovered emaciated and battling distemper alongside his sister Red, was immediately rushed to the ER vet. The medical team worked tirelessly, providing urgent care with oxygen and IVs, hoping to turn the tide for this ailing soul. Despite our best efforts, Bluey's condition worsened, and he passed away that night.

Our hearts ache with the knowledge that we couldn't reach him in time, yet we take solace in the fact that, in his final moments, Bluey experienced warmth, care, and love. The dedicated staff at the ER vet surrounded him with compassion, attempting everything in their power to save him. We share in the sorrow of his loss, expressing profound regret that he faced such suffering in his short life.

Bluey, we tried everything to save you, and in your final hours, you were cradled by love. Your spirit will remain in our hearts as a reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of compassion. Rest peacefully, dear Bluey. November 21st, 2023.
