Jolene was seen wandering around local apartments in South Texas with a severe eye injury. Her eye was protuding from her socket and a concerned passerby asked if  the rescue could assist her. She was taken to emergency to remove her eye, and the rest is history. She is a friendly and rambuctious dog, full of so much life. She would fit best with a family who is active and energetic. She loves to play and has a sassy demeanor, but loves to receive affection. She needs a family that can keep up with her and who is willing to give her the love she deserves.
